There is some confusion here, and it's probably all mine.
I have reread the instruction manual and Appendix B is;
a) on pages 96 and 97 of my book and
b) in two parts, one for class 1 fax modems and the other for class two
modems.
I know of two ways to produce the "where is the modem?" message.
a) by switching the modem on during the intialisation of GPFax.
b) the incorrect intialisation string.
The intialisation string I use is "ATE0V1X4&D2S0=0". However this is for
the generic Class 1 GPFax version 2.344 and a supra 144LC. It took me
hours to get GPFax working, its a pain isn't it?
