#To Toast or not?
Hello all!
I have a couple of questions for all of you Amiga and Toaster people. We are
looking at adding 3D rendering and animation to your companies bag of tricks.
Our end result will have to be able to be portable to multiple platforms and we
also wish to be able to create demos and displays on tape.
Now, we are PC based, but I have been drooling over the Toaster "forever". But,
should I be concerned about the selling and buying rumors of the Commodore
company? Also, I was always under the impression that the Toaster was an
inexpensive way to go, as the market goes. I was reading some past messages in
the Amiga Users Forum and a person asked about a good base system to get
started with and the price started at $15,000. Now, that is really not what I
was expecting for "an inexpensive way to go". Or am I totally off base?
So, if you would please enlighten me on what I would "really need", not what
the sales people say I need, and some ball park prices I would greatly
appreciate it.
