Actually, Clint, there are a few PD readers out there that will let an Amiga handle a FLI/FLC animation directly. Nevertheless, I'd prefer a disc carrying the IFF-ANIM format as a substitute or in addition to. I was thinking of Knowledge Media's small collection of multimedia CD-ROMs, which contain common and specific data files for a variety of platforms and then also subdirectories with executables for half a dozen platforms, including Amiga, UNIX, Mac, PC and Atari. The Amiga subdirectory on the KM disc I've got actually carried an early commercial Amiga multimedia program, no longer marketed directly.
