Commodore saw an opportunity to make some money in the PC market. This was fine however, it should have created a COMPLETELY separate subsidiary to handle it. Instead, there were often sales/marketing people who were trying to handle both PC and Amiga lines, and this definitely hurt the Amiga. Also, the PC market isn't a cakewalk, so dollars for R&D, marketing, etc., were all then split between PC and Amiga, and this again hurt the Amiga. While the PC made Commodore money, it hastened the demise of the Amiga, IMHO. Paul.
