Please take this with a lick of salt, but a correspondant in England assured me they have put 3.5" LPS low profile drives into the 1200 "by trimming the casework a bit". I lost his message in a corruption of my harddisks this week, unhappily. It does sound plausible, since they are very thin and use a lot less power than the normal ones. I am looking at a Quantum-Pro 52mb LPS right now and it is very thin. Anyone want to trade me a 2000 deinterlacer for it? (major grin).
