Jonathan, Not entirely sure what you're asking, so if I miss the mark feel free to redirect… You said you "can't figure out how to allow the caller to manually initiate a fax while the message is playing." If you're talking about a caller sending a fax TO PhonePak once a mailbox greeting has started, (s)he simply needs to do the following: 1) Press the pound ("#") key. This will bring up the Message Editing Menu. 2) Press 8. The caller should hear the message "Please press 'START' on your fax machine, then hang up the receiver," followed by the initial fax tones. 3) As it says… press the START button and hang up the handset (if one is being used). As to documentation, online help for LineMan options can be had by selecting LineMan, then pressing the HELP key… sending a fax is listed in the first screen. You should have received some reference cards with the package which also show how to send a fax to PhonePak. In the manual section "Analysis of an Incoming Call," sending a fax to PhonePak is listed in the chart on page 155. And finally, "To send a fax, press 8" is the second item mentioned in the Message Editing Menu. Let me know if this doesn't answer the question you asked. <Grin> Rick
