Yes Lyle, both these monitors will work with an IBM PC. The bad news is that
they will only work in the CGA mode. Your IBM PC video card needs to have a 9
pin connector
to mate with the 9 pin one on the 1902-to-Commodore 128 cable ( if you have
it).
This limits how useful it will be. If you are just using text (80 x 25 columns)
you're OK. But don't even think about Windows, or any games.
Most if not all PCs today have a 15 pin connector for a VGA monitor. And the
signals that the IBM VGA connector puts out are not compatible with the 1084 or
1902, except in the case of text only ( although you can get 16 color text ).
You might be better off trying to sell the monitors and buy a used VGA monitor
at a computer show. Or you can use them hooked up to your VCR as additional TV
monitors.
