I heard that the Bigfoot power supplies were hardly better than the original
power pack. Might be me getting it wrong :-). Just because it says more watts,
doesn't mean they will all make it down the cable. Also some extra power
supplies only give more juice on +5, -5 or +12 (think thats the voltages) and
not ALL of them. If you are pulling a heavy load off of 12v and you only have
extra 5vs then it ain't going to work.
