Steve, what kind of SCSI card do you have in your IBM ? That will help determine what kind of drivers you need. I have an Adaptec 1542CF SCSI card with an internal Toshiba CDROM. I use a driver that came in a software bundle with the card called CUNI_ASP.sys ( from Corel, the makers of CorelDraw ). If you have DOS 5.0 or higher on the IBM. then you have the second file you need, MSCDEX.EXE. One file ( my CUNI_ASP.sys ) goes in your config.sys, the second ( MSCDEX.EXE ) goes in your autoexec.bat. The sys file you need really depends on your SCSI card. I took a quick look in IBM file find, but I only saw 2 sys files, and they were specific for an NCR pc/scsi card. Let me know if you can identify your SCSI card and I might be able to give more suggestions. Vince K.
