Ben, Thanks for the info. The ugly font I made was in fact a cyrillic one. Since I use TeX, I made it to be able to read cyrillic while using CED. I still have some doubts though: to the best of my knowledge peecee keyboards never had more than 256 keys so I guess it still will be not very easy to use *all* chinese characters AND I noticed quite some problems by even using only the wingdings font under Windows.
