Heavens no. Just like them not joining our bandwagon, we wouldn't have to join
their's.

standards in place for the world community…and if they wish to join that
community (business wise) they'll also adopt those standards?"
You seem to assume that there has to be a global computing standard. I on the
other hand, don't think there is one now, and there wont be one for some time
to come.
