Isn't it so that *many* writers just copy the others and so often create a myth? In the very school where I developed my first big program I have seen teachers tell the children that IBM made the first microcomputer ever in 1981. They even didn't believe me when I told them that they had about 10 or 20 microcomputers that were a few years older. Even when we showed them they didn't accept it nor did they change their story.
