IMO, no program is a panacea (my standard refrain), and I wouldn't expect this. LW is tuned more towards broadcast apps, while Imagine is geared more for experimentation and has a steeper learning curve. LW's basic feature set hasn't changed much over the years, but will probably advance through plug-ins under Windows. Imagine is in a constant state of flux and improvement, and has a growing on-board features set, runs under DOS right now, but will be ported to Win later this year. If you're tired of modeling with polys, want to give splines a try, and your interest runs more towards character animation, then Animation Master is worth a look. I use all three programs, each for different things. My favorite is Imagine, but this is a highly personal choice. LW might be better for you if you want to buy plug-ins, and want nice glows, fog, and lens flares a la SeaQuest, B5. -Tim
