I was thinking a bit more about the wave generator-I think that in 2.0 you should be able to make small linear waves using the texture animation feature. Instead of making the waves in the object itself, you could make a wave bumpmap and animate it along a surface. Concentric waves would be a bit more difficult. …Ken
