>> Great message and great synopsis of some of the characters on Babylon 5. << Gee, thanks! <blush> Having strong feelings about something sure helps the ol' Muses come out, dunnit? >> I no longer watch just to see the graphics, in fact, I rarely focus on them at all. << That's also been the great surprise in year 2: the show has become watchable, so I don't tune in just to see the Lightwave graphics. (And by God, these space battles are so intricate and flow so well!) In year 1, there was a quantum gap between the then-stupendous CG (lens flare, wow) and the wooden characters. In year 2, the animation now serves as a rich backdrop to help the story roll along, and the writing & acting are now up to the same high standards; the result is a seamless hour, with no brutal changes in quality level when the animation comes on. Babylon 5 used to be the Lens Flare Variety Hour; now, it's the most watchable Sci-Fi show on TV. Blaq!
