I have an A530 Turbo. I was performing a low level format on the Maxtor drive prior to a bad block remap after an unending string of checksum errors. A power outage interrupted me. When I rebooted the system, the A530 would not mount since the software on the drive had been wiped out. I retrieved the mountlist and ran Expert Prep. Although the software recognized my hard drive and my CD rom on the SCSI chain, it referred to my hard drive as a 0 mb device and all information concerning it was lost. All the fields were ghosted so I could not enter any information into the program for partitioning or anything else. Simply put, I can't access the A530, the hard drive or the SCSI chain. It just isn't recognized. Will the AmigaDOS mount command cure this or is this a software problem? If this appears to be a hardware problem, please advise. Thank you! ~~~~sailing on autopilot~~~~ jeff @ lamplight productions
