The problem of the GVP controllers witj external devices usually results due to
missing termination power ot the GVP controller.
This can easily be solved:
1. Simple solution: The (last) external device must be internally terminated
and must provide its own termination power. Disadvantage: If you switch off
this device (e.g. CD-Rom), your machine will likely hang.
2. Better solution: Provide termination power. Can be done by soldering a
(shottky) diode on the GVP board. Disadvantage: You must solder.
