JB <<There are still users who fervently hope that the never-quite-finished C65 computer would be polished up and released by Commodore.>> I thought about the C65, but I think the C64 has a slightly better chance. The C64 has 10 years worth of software, magazine articles, and user experience floating out there, while the C65 ould have to deal with the creation of new programs, info sources, and building a user base. I assume the C65 will have the same problems as the C128. The pure BASIC (c64) programs will convert easy enough, but converting or creating c65 mode software may be slow to market. Of course, if the c65 is the only version of the Commodore 8-bit being sold in *new* markets, then dedicated software might not be a problem. Ron.
