My external CDRom DOES work with my GVP Scsi II series card. There was a
special adaptor that came with the CDRom that looked kind of like a gender
changer that did not change the gender. I am told (by Betty Clay, I believe)
that this was actually an external SCSI terminator that can be purchased
separately for under $10 I later found out. I have absolutely no problems with
this CD Rom (its an NEC-25 single speed) playing audio CDs or any other
applications (GIF CDs & Fonts).
