There is indeed a great value in audio input in most everything we do.
Countless accidents would be avoided if folks could hear traffic sounds
over their sound system's.
As for computer sounds, I can usually tell by the sounds when something
is wrong. Then, often I'm utilizing my Voice Navigator as an extra pair of
hands–and it certainly does not like loud music.
Silence may not be golden, Bill, but listening to sounds around you
certainly puts you in much closer touch with your environment.
