I guess I'll just have to take your word for it, Andrew, as I have not (and most likely will not) run the OS myself. It all really depends on how things shake out between now and the time 3DS/NT ships. I will say, however, that the information I relayed here came directly from VERY knowlegable sources (I'm not gonna drop any names here) who more than likely know more about Win95 than 90% of the members of this forum collectively. So I'm gonna take their word for it, as they have been right 100% of the time on matters such as these many, many times in the past. This isn't to say that Win95 will not be a logical OS choice for many folks in the future, perhaps myself included. My statements merely reflected what the OS is reportedly *based* on and how it is being marketed by MS, not neccesarily what it looks like, acts like, or works like. FYI, I run 3DS, Corel Draw, PhotoShop, Elastic Reality, and other Windows and DOS-based programs every day, all day, often at the same time in Win31 with absolutely no problems, and have been for many, many months. So I guess you could say that my Win31 apple pie has been tasting pretty good over here for quite some time now!<g>. Certainly, if I were having a hard time with these issues (as you have, perhaps?) I would be quite happy if Win95 allowed everything to work together for me. Are you comparing Win95 with NT? I can tell you that there is no comparison. Period. Like any new OS or application, there are going to be growing pains, but anyone who has been in this business for any length of time can tell you that this is commonplace, and I sincerely hope that MS stays on top of these issues. Finally, let me say that I sincerely hope that your experience with Win95 is a positive and productive one, and please continue to keep the forum posted with any helpful information you may uncover concerning it's relationship(s) with 3DS, and/or associated hardware/software issues. I know I would appreciate it very much! -Alan
