Just make sure you expose correctly to avoid the dreaded scrolling bars!. Usually exposures of half a sec or more average the scan lines very well, unless one has a synch signal that drives the shutter. This can usually be rented but for more sophisticated electronic driven cameras. Exposure from a monitor can be judged very accuratly witha spot meter. Measure the brightest point and the darkest point where you want detail and average those two. Film, unlike video is very forgiving and has a latitude of well over 6 "stops". Arturo
