Jim, >> What can I do to protect the file if the client says they don't want it after all, but (by no way of me knowing) use the file anyway. << I got a tip from friends in the video world that works quite well and kinda avoids irritating the client. Put a timecode display on your flic. This makes it fairly useless for final use by the client and if they are offended you can say you put it on as an index for them to point out any problems in the animation. To create a timecode/clock/frame counter display, just create a flic in animator pro that counts numbers one at a time from a text file. I also sell a poco routine for use with animator pro that works quite elaborately for this purpose plus is useful for the accident recon animators.
