pHred: /_______________________From your message________________________\\ Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good way of outputting to a canon colour copier. __________________________________________________________________ Can I assume you are first taking your digital file through a Fiery RIP on its way to the Canon? If so there is an implied border for an 8.5 x 11 proof which is about 25" on each of 3 sides and .375" on the bottom. The maximum resolution of the Fiery 150i is 400dpi in full color so the file should be 8" x 400 = 3200 by 10.375" x 400 = 4150 so IOW – 3200 pixels by 4150 pixels is about the highest resolution you will want to render to as anything higher will be ignored. I render to the 150i all the time and find that many images are visually indistinguishable at lower resolutions. I render to .tif files (Are you sending yours out of house?) and print out of Quark, Photostyler, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Painter, Graphic Workshop among others. FWIW, all of these paint programs seem to have their way with a files overall color. Photoshop and Quark, so far, have been the most neutral with regards to color rendition. Bob
