Yes, I know you can, but with the resource limitations with windows, I've never
been able to do it with BIG graphic Apps. only with small word processors and
utilities, etc.
On my first NT session, I had Photoshop, Elastic Reality, Transjammer, and
Premiere all open at once, and I could BANG from one to next instantly. And
they kept their speed.
In WFWG, If I have Photoshop open, I cant open Premiere without getting down to
about 20% system resources, which means a substantial drop in speed with a
corresponding increase in the likelihood of GPFs.
And, more than occasionally, a total crash.
NT really is multitasking, Windows tries but…..
That's the point I was trying to get across.I'm sorry if I gave the wrong
impression. Thanks for making it clear.
