Nik, In retrospect, I do think people should have a significant block of time in order to switch from WfWG/etc. to NT. (many have already started) Purchasing a valuable new program that is yet another stop sign for the "journey" to NT is frustrating. People want to change at their leisure, not following ADESK's official (yet unnanounced, of course) plan to get get everything over to NT by [insert date/major event here]. People are sick of Dos, and sick of Windows. They want to get to a rich, stable environment as soon as possible, and they (we) rely on more than just a couple programs for productivity. (I have ER, and PP/NT in my hot hands, ready for NT.) But all said and soapbox returned, I understand if it was easier to write "quick and dirty" for WfWG/etc and tweak things for NT later. Better AAStudio in the hand, than NT AAS in the bush. -just make sure NT AAS is really NT tweaked. 😉 JNJ
