Besides what Dave said, a very incredible addition is the addition of
capability to use Andromeda filters. They have two sets. Series 1
gives you all the lens effects you get from Disk 1 or LenZFX.
Series 2 is a simulated 3D environment for 2D, ie wrap textures/images
around a sphere, cube, cylinder, etc… also hilights, slmilar to
materials settings in the Materials Editor of 3DS. Pick light source
cast shadows etc… Once these babies catch on you will hear a lot more
about them. These two packages will give users of AAS (who don't have 3DS)
the power to create images similar to those which could only be acheived
in a 3D environment.
