A lot of people have complained that reading in an FLC directly and getting an
AVI file produced a poor looking file. Better results were obtained by taking
the FLC file and converting it to a series of TGA files, and then importing the
series of TGA files into VidEdit.
Also, if you are rendering from 3D Studio, you can skip the FLC portion
entirely. Render straight to TGA's and import them into VidEdit or some other
AVI making utility.
