I work with Macs often now in the video post business. In some cases they do quite nicely. The one thing I do notice though is their owners are all very religous. They worship Apple and their Mac system. Same goes for the Amiga owners. I guess it has to do with the closed architecture these platforms use. I've often wondered why Radio Shack and the Z-80 processor never developed into a cult culture. After all, they were a closed architecture that was dieing a slow death too. Right now I'm taking bets on who's next: SGI or Mac. The pundants are saying Mac. What do you think?
