It is only plastic, but a spendy little sucker. I purchased it for anatomical reference for scupture and things of that nature, plus a practical joke now and then, as well 🙂 I didn't buy a real one, because they usually have teeth missing, and bone deterioration, and they are a little more fragile than plastic. It kills me not to take advantage of the thing with 3d graphics, but getting a 3d model of a skeleton is a very spendy proposition. You would think owning a physical one would help in some way, but no, it doesn't…
