BTW, I just rechecked with DEC about the daughtercard 233mhz Alpha chip upgrade for the DEC xl pc's, cost is still about $2500. I'm sure a vendor will cut a deal but that's a huge chunk of change. The guy on the phone sort of alluded to a summertime price drop and some new product out at that time. I know this is how rumors start so I wouldn't put much creedence in it until some official corroboration can be obtained. Bob
