They might be offering a discount (putting it at about the number you mentioned) if you buy it now, and wait a month or so for the book. For a little more money you can upgrade to 3.xx, which should be release also in about a month, and there are a number of further improvements included in that version. The 4.xx NURBS release will be sometime later, and they might seperate the modeler on that one. << Will there be a fully functional non-save demo made available? >> Yes, I understand that there is. You need to E-Mail Adam Godfrey @ 73544,3103. Have you downloaded REALGI.zip in Mesh/Proj. section ? Besides the images, I included a *TON* of very detailed info on the program's capabilities. Get in touch with Adam on the demo, read all that stuff I uploaded, and let me know if I can answer any more questions. Also, please check out my other messages in this thread for my honest opinion of the s/w. It's not perfect, (what is?) but it's extremely powerful and connects with 3DS. I think you might like it. My book should help tremendously with the fact it's a deep program, and the modeling doc's aren't so good. BTW, did you ever get your wacom & mouse to run under 3DS ? I could get them both up with either stylus, but the tablet behaved erratically, and the driver blew out every time I switched back to the mouse. Are you having any success with MeshPaint ?
