If you want a better quality than a scanner can offer, consider transfering the
images to a photo cd and bringing them back into the pc. Shoot them with some
really high-resolution film like Ilford PanF (B&W 50 ISO) or Kodachrome 25 on a
real stable base and bring them to your local photo shop…of course, it takes
about 2 weeks to get anything back and costs $$$.
