I'm not sure that that in and of itself will necessarily be a problem. NT does
handle things like that. I'd need to know more to give you a definitive answer
one way or other. SCSI controllers are a little different than IDE because they
have their own BIOS. I would expect AMI Bios not to be a problem. FWIW, NT has
been dealing with these issues for several years and has incorporated many
features to accomodate extensions to DOS as a result.
I'll upload the README.WRI file in ASCI text format and anyone who has any
specific concerns can check it out.
With regard to LAN 5.0 I think you've got a problem because unlike LAN 6.0 it
doesn't incorporate Netbeui or IPX/SPX as a protocol. My suggestion would be to
get Netware Lite. If you have Novell compatible network cards, you can use NT
is a Server. Other than that you've got WFW which as you already mentioned will
also work. Its uses Netbeui. You could also upgrade to LAN 6.0 and might be a
better solution depending on how many machines you need to link.
Like most things more detail would help.
