No, Brian, haven't figured out the problem with the Future Domain 860 card yet. Actually I think there are two problems, lack of documentation with the care — and me <G>! I haven't tried pulling the bios chip, but will if you will tell me which that is. I take it that is the oblong chip marked Future Domain. It seems to be the only chip that can be taken out, so will do and let you know. (By now you can tell you are dealing with a real techno-whiz here, right?) One problem is the drivers I got with the board. It won't load with DOS 5.0. I have found other drivers on a local board, but again no docs and I'm not too sure whether they are for CD-ROM or HD only. When I called FD they told me they'd send the new drivers for $45 U.S. I paid $45 Cdn for the board and drivers I have. That's about $35 U.S. I decided I would seek help elsewere (ie here and other spots) or I would buy another manufacturer's board before I'd give in to highway robbery by FD. Thanks very much for your assistance. I've got the chip out and will try it. Cheers!
