If you mean how is supporting another 3D app's file format beneficial….heck, I wish *every* 3D app. did this. I must not be grasping your question tho', as this should be an obvious answer. I believe what I've read indicated that SI would directly support 3DS FF, but……they don't consider 3DS on an "equal level" with SI, now or in the future. From that sort of comment, I'm guessing that means they will be priced higher than 3DS or 3DS NT. What is amusing to me is that the provider of the new 3DS OS, is probably going to also be the nearest-match competitor with the 3D app's. I'd think MS would be sending Gary & Co. phony doc's or something <gg>. I guess MS is too arrogant to do that anyway <g>. BILL
