Waterfall/Liquids
<Is WATRFALL.ZIP part of TSE, Ed?>
Yes. And it should be easy to modify (but
perhaps you should get someone else's
opinion on that <g>.)
<you were promising a particle system script>
Blame "the root of all evil" <g>. I had intended
to upload two versions of "A Simple Particle
System." The version for beginners, I used in
an article I sold to "Planet Studio" (the
article may not be used in the next issue). I
am not sure what I'll do with the other
version.
<how important was AniPro to the creation of that
effect? >
I am just starting to explore 3ds and finding
out that it can do many of the tasks I do with
AniPro better.
For the water animation I probably could have
used the video post (haven't tried), and ended
up with better antialiasing.
(I used AniPro to "increase" the number of
particles by combining several time-shifted
copies of the original animation with itself.)
< I hope KUB is at least paying you royalties or
something — you've certainly deserve them!
… I'm leaning heavily towards getting TSE,
solely based on the work you've done.>
Thanks! My contract with KUB ended after
creating four sample scripts. Comments like
yours help ensure that Martin will want me to
work for him again.
