I have not yet purchased TSE. I am still studying and planning. I am
working on a Desert scene where sand gets pushed around and flows, exploded and
blows in the wind. I am doing morfs, and melt, along with IPAS particles. The
idea of scripting this is a little daunting, but I would like to get it
working…I have more plans for a "Desert Rats" type animation.
The render time issue is also troublesome. I am trying to do a sand
storm, and have decided to include a number of 2D elements to get the density
of particles I need.
The script examples that come with R4 do not show promise for these
types of effects.
