I don't remember if this was already suggested to you or not, but you ought to dl the demo version of the Yost Boutique OPTIMIZE IPAS. It will let you spin objects around in a shaded mode AND to view little arrows representing normals sprouting for each face. You can also click on the arrows to flip the normal. Of course, in the REAL version, you can SAVE the changes you make. It's really handy for figuring out those odd little holes. Dave
