>> GH> I believe a standard VGA card (capable of only 640x480x16 OR 320x200x256) only had 64 levels of RGB (ie: 64x64x64) so it could only choose 256 colours from a possible 262,144…It's just I don't remember there being 64 levels on the sliders. I thought there were 256 levels on the orignal Animator….I suppose it dos'nt mattereveryone got SVGA cards now…This qusetion come in a class I was teaching about the importance and problems of video cards in Multimedia/Animation app's << it was driving me crazy… i just couldn't remember it's been so long since i've worked with baby animator…. so…. i loaded her up again. gosh what a trip down memory lane! i had forgotten how far along animator pro had come! <ggg> yes, you are correct, it was values of 0-64 per RGB, 64x64x64 capability with 320x200x256. aaaah my memory's going! <ggg> i'd forgotten how versatile this program was in its infancy too. hardly took any harddisk space, quick sucker when it runs, and quite a bit of functionality to it. man i feel old. -dave
