Well, at the moment they're already past Build 447 which is a hundred units beyond M8, the "Preview" CD, and they've changed the entire memory model and structure among other things, so who knows? I agree, though, that if they are going to make even August 31 they have to decide to write off the 10-15% who can't run it properly and the added equal number whose systems fight it and fix it in the .1 as usual.
