Well, since you are running a clearly labeled Beta there's no question the ball is in Microsoft's court. HP doesn't support some operating systems that are really out there; it certainly does not support directly any other company's beta no matter how many copies said company throws around. THe bottom line is, if WIN95 wasn't still basically a work in progress it wouldn't be a beta, it would be a retail product. That said, while I don't think all of the printer capabilities are enabled, the LJ4 driver in WIN95 has been reported overall to be quite stable. I haven't used it but I've used the similar one for the 1200 and it's performed pretty good (wish I could say the same about WIN95 in general on my system but that's another story). The 16 bit driver should certainly work, but make sure that you first deleted any HP Laserjet drivers you might already have installed before using it. WIN95 is pushy and otherwise might try and use them anyway if they are still in any way installed. Also, try printing without making this the default printer. That is, choose it. There is a problem with some WIN95 builds that cause problems when a printer is the "default."
