< What happens if you specify only a single bin (for *all* pages) in Word while the driver is set to mixed bins? I had thought that this works correctly and I shall test it > I tried that with 2.1.2 and 2.1.1. I get the first page from the upper bin and the rest from the lower bin. If I specify lower only in the driver and mixed in Word, I get all upper. BTW, I use the lower bin for white and the upper bin for letterhead. I LOCK the UC from selection via the printer CONFIG menu. < I think we all would agree that this does not happen with Word and the 2.1.x driver.> I didn't have any problems with Word using the 3.53 or 3.57 or 3.58 MS PS drivers as far as bin selection. I think I had the problem with the 3.5 version, but I have difficulty remembering that far back. The Word Page setup overrode the Windows driver setup. I'd stay with the MS drivers, but I'm having that damn problem with Excel and the QMS magicolor, which the 2.1.x drivers seem to fix for me. I can probably live for now with users being forced into changing the settings in the printer driver as well as page setup in Word, but it seems like instructions from the Department of Redundancy Department.
