WHich commands do you need?
dBase IV does provide basic setup commands for the LJ4-series – they cover
"regular" and "compressed", and portrait / lanscape page orientations, but
that's about it. It's far from being a complete printer driver, but check the
documentation again.
The problem is that the original design of dBase itself made no provision
for proportional fonts, so it really doesn't know how to take advantage of your
4Si's best-looking typefaces, let alone how to select trays, etc.
You *can* easily print dBase reports using any size of _any_ LJ4Si internal
font, however, with our "SizeIt" utility. Its conveninet setup menus also
control page orientation, paper size & tray, all four margins, and so on. And
you can freely select Times, Arial, Omega, or whatever proportioal font you
like, becasue SizeIt will keep the columns lined up for you automatically.
It;s fast, easy to use, and inexpensive.
