Well, partly it's due to the fact that Corel handles most of its own
printing and not very well, particularly in Draw4, where font handling was
really awful. You should check with Corel in the proper section of CorelApps,
though — Section 3, I think — because they do have some kludges and INI type
fixes for those kinds of things.
PM4 requires at least Postscript 3.56 but otherwise has never been reported
to be a problem. PM5 requires either the Adobe driver or 3.58 plus the PPD to
run. If you want, try using the Adobe Postscript driver — you can download it
from LIB4 here — and see if this doesn't help in both cases. If you ARE using
2.1.x, then GO MSL and download the latest PSCRIPT.DRV from them, which is
3.58, and install that. The two drivers can coexist but you'll have to define
separate virtual printers for them.
