Assuming the use of PCL, not PS, you can create a form in your favorite DTP app
(as long as it uses resident capabilities of the printer) and turn it into an
overlay form by printing it to file and stripping out any PCL reset commands.
You could turn this into a "macro" which is HP jargon for a permanent overlay
form which resides in the printer's memory, or you can simply print the
stripped PCL code to the printer and then send your overlay info.
Assuming your overlay info has a reset of FF, youll end up with one form.
There are lots of ways to proceed if you give me more detail.
