#Using Euro LJ4L in U.S.
I bought an HP Laserjet 4L in the U.K. a few weeks ago, and brought it with me
to the U.S. to use. It worked fine before I left, but I'm now having a problem
using it here. When it starts to print, the paper begins feeding, and then all
four LEDs flash, and nothing else happens. I'm using a 110/220V power adapter,
but the mains power in Europe is 50 cycles whereas its 60 cycles here.
Its just possible that it was damaged in transit, although I shipped it packed
in its original box. Does anyone know if this printer should work OK in the
U.S. on 60 cycles power, or is it more likely to have got damaged?
If I do need to get it checked, does anyone have a phone number for HP, or do I
just take it to any HP dealer?
