WAN printing
We are working on a Novell 4.1 network with 3 servers at different locations
connected via 56k lines and routers. Jet Direct was used to set up the
printers on each of the servers. One OS2 client acts as a print server to
route print jobs from the AS400 to the queue one of the three servers. To do
this the OS2 client logs in to each of the servers and that user is listed as a
user for that printer.
The problem we have is when the OS2 client is rebooted and goes thru the
autostart program it does not connect to the novell servers and Comm Manager
has to be take down. Then we login thru the icons and then restart Comm
Manager.
Is there a better way to set this up so it can connect and print to all servers
unattended?
