We were married on the historic ROARING BULL, a car and passenger ferry that crosses the Susquehana River about 50 miles north of Harrisburg and is, I think, the only ferry left in Pennsylvania and the only car paddlewheel driven ferry I've ever seen. Charles Kerault called it one of his favorites in an ON THE ROAD piece years ago. It's still running. Another one of my favorites even though I didn't get married on it is the JOHN ATLANTIC BULL that crosses Lake Powell in southern Utah. Like taking a car ferry across the Grand Canyon.
