Thank you, Jerome! I think a good discussion of the pluses and minus' of various modeling options is good to get newer forum members thinking. One important thing I didn't put into the formular is, if you are developing an architectural model for presentation purposes only it is easier to do more in 3DS, as opposed to building the model in conjunction with working plans. I have tried to keep the two seperate, but that depends on office procedure and deadlines<G>. Thanks again for taking the time for a well thought out response.
